That's right, all competitors in the HITS Palm Springs Triathlon race who beat HITS CEO, Tom Struzzieri , in the full distance 140.6 distance race will win a FREE entry to the Full at HITS Palm Springs 2015!
CEO Tom Struzzieri decided to race his next 140.6 at HITS Palm Springs and is excited for the challenge. His foray into triathlon was inspired by accomplished coach and HITS Endurance Race Director, Mark H. Wilson. Wanting to set a powerful example to his three children that fitness and good health are essential ingredients for living the best life possible, Struzzieri asked for training sessions with Wilson for his 50th birthday. Personal accomplishment and overcoming obstacles with the combined experience of a swim, bike and run made the sport his passion and eventually a business interest. And yes, Tom will be training hard for this event, and well prepared.
“It’s about being competitive, the shared experience, improving your health and fitness, achieving goals—but I want everyone, from seasoned to beginner and those who’ve never even considered, to experience a HITS Triathlon,” said Struzzieri. “The atmosphere at our events is something you can’t get anywhere else in the world – participants of all ages and levels come together for the multiple disciplines of this sport.”

Dehydration Results In Lower Blood Pressure And Slows Bodily Processes. Active individuals should be aware of the acute effects of dehydration on performance. With just a 2% loss of water in the body, heat regulation becomes impacted. With a 3% drop in body weight from water loss, muscle cell contraction is impacted. And at 4% loss, there is 5-10% reduction in overall performance that can last up to 4 hours.
